Description: An existing concrete plant within a residential area had lost planning permission and had to be replaced. DPS were engaged to build a new batching plant on a brown field site. This included preparation of the site, including utility services (Electrical, Water & Drainage). The civil construction was particularly difficult due to the sloping nature of the site. A mobile Sitemix 80 was selected by the client for this installation.

Description: Due to a planning issue the existing plant had to be closed. A new plant needed to be built in the same locality; a shared site on a privately owned sand & gravel quarry was elected by the client. DPS were engaged to plan, action and construct a new batching concrete plant. An existing plant at Burton, Staffordshire that had been mothballed for a period of time was to be used. After a tender process this was dismantled, modified, refurbished and rebuilt on site.
